Royal Pain

from Politics by Void Where Prohibited

/

about

Ok.

I was writing this last winter about the endless hero worship that accompanies presidential elections ... and the candidates who come to crave and feed on it. But ...

It's most definitely Trump. He just slipped right into this and I can't avoid the lyrical resemblance. Oh well ...

lyrics

If I can take a moment of your time
To flabbergast and make you mine
Would it all be hunky dory?

In all I do, I will define
The glittering will make you blind
And all the rest will just be boring

Call to me I am your king
Come to me and
Kneel

In my success I am your role
So push me upwards to my goal
And make your countenance adoring!

Call to me I am your king
Come to me and
Kneel

(Chorus of Worshippers):
All our pains and all our worries fade in your glory!
